The Balinese Language program is growing and evolving in an era of promising opportunities for the development of this language, as one of the local/ethnic languages in the world with the democratization of internet technology. This demands lecturers, as instructors of various courses, to continue to develop their theoretical knowledge and skills in the Balinese language. Therefore, a workshop was conducted related to the development of the Balinese language in conjunction with digital technology by inviting practitioner: I Gede Wira Wartana, S.,Pd., an expert in the field of Manuscript Conservation. This is a one-day workshop focusing on the development of the tradition of writing on palm leaf manuscripts which is part of the Conservation of Manuscripts course. The workshop itself was attended by the lecturers and the students of the Balinese Language Education Study Program.
From this workshop, the lecturer can enhance the semester syllabus plan as attached (RPS_Manuscript Conservation ). As a result of the semester syllabus plan improvement, the students had real-life experiences in conservation of the manuscripts. The students, lecturers, and village community doing the manuscript conservation treatment together.

The lecturers of Manuscript Conservation are discussing with the practitioner before starting the manuscript conservation for the local community manuscripts.
The students accompanied by the lectures start the process of manuscript conservation which involves cleaning the palm leaves with lemongrass oil, then airing them until dry, and finally darkening the writings on the palm leaf manuscripts with burnt candlenuts. Finally, the treatment of conservation is finished.
