The Balinese Language Education Study program conducted a seminar on Developing Creative Product Businesses in the Balinese Language and Script for Language Existence. This seminar offered numerous benefits. The lectures of the study program gained insights into leveraging the Balinese language and script for creative product development that enhanced language preservation efforts. The seminar also provided a platform to explore innovative business ideas rooted in Balinese culture, fostering economic growth while promoting linguistic and cultural heritage. Moreover, the lectures can plan a network with industry experts and fellow enthusiasts, fostering collaboration and exchange of ideas for sustainable language existence and cultural innovation.
Made Suatjana who has expertise in Balinese script programming was invited to the seminar to share his knowledge and experiences in planning and developing entrepreneurship programs related to the area of Balinese Language and Balinese Language Education.
From the seminar, the lectures in the Balinese Language Education Study program were inspired to improve their lesson plan as well as teaching activities. The lectures of the Entrepreneurship Course modified the semester lesson plan to include the production of entrepreneurial products as the students’ project RPS_enterpreneurship_workshop.docx
As a result of the implementation of the semester syllabus plan, the students of the Balinese Language Education Study Program were able to produce some products that might have entrepreneurship value. The students’ products also inspired the lecturers to develop teaching material for the course.
