The Bali Language Education Program invites practitioners to teach the Balinese Script Computerization Course on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. This course is intended for the fourth-semester students and is taught by Dr. I Ketut Paramarta, S.S., M.Hum. The practitioner comes from Bali Kiddy School, named I Putu Dirga, S.Pd. He is an alumnus of the Balinese Language Education Study Program, graduating in 2016. In addition to teaching at Bali Kiddy International School, he also maintains a blog and is active on social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, consistently sharing interesting content about Balinese script in both traditional and modern contexts.

In the first meeting of the Balinese Script Computerization Course, he showcased various examples of his work on YouTube and Instagram channels while explaining the products that can be generated from Balinese Script Computerization. He also shared about brief history Bali Simbar program, Writing Balinese script using Bali Simbar-B and Bali Simbar Dwijendra. He also emphasized the importance for the young generation in Bali to continue preserving Balinese culture by utilizing social media and creating engaging and beneficial content for Balinese language education. In the future, the Balinese Language Education Study Program will continue to invite practitioners to enhance student’s knowledge related to the taken courses.
